| On Friday, March 1st, 2013 preschool children from Cross City’s Dixie Cubhouse made a tour through the Dixie County Courthouse while on a literary parade kicking off National Literacy Month.The children were dressed as their favorite book’s character as they proudly displayed their favorite book.Dixie County’s Supervisor of Elections, Starlet Cannon greeted the children in the hall with a bag of goodies filled with a patriotic coloring book, bookmark, pencil and a ballot. |
